You should still partner with Jesus even if YOUR life “still” is not getting any better!

Dear friend, Your circumstances are not the measure of Jesus’s faithfulness. The devil is a liar, and he would love nothing more than for you to look at your situation, throw up your hands, and give up on the only One who can deliver you. But I tell you today in the name of Jesus—you must still partner with Him! Yes, even if your life appears stuck, dry, and barren. Even if the breakthrough hasn’t come. Even if your prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling. Jesus hasn’t left you. He is in the fire with you.

Do not be deceived by the illusion that progress is always visible. When a seed is planted, it disappears. It’s buried. Forgotten. But beneath the surface, in the darkness, life begins. You say, “Nothing is changing,” but perhaps Jesus has hidden you on purpose—to protect what He’s building. Some of your greatest growth is happening underground, in secret, away from the applause and the light. And when the time is right, He will make all things beautiful—not rushed, but beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

You may think you’ve been forgotten, but you’ve actually been hidden for preparation. Consider Moses—forty years in the desert before God called him from the burning bush. Why? Because Egypt had to be drained out of him before he could deliver others from it. Jesus isn’t late. He’s just digging deeper.

When Jesus Delays, He’s Developing YOU!

Some of you have confused Jesus’s delay with His denial. You’ve assumed because it hasn’t happened yet, it never will. But faith is not proven in the immediate; it’s proven in the waiting. Jesus didn’t delay Lazarus’ resurrection because He didn’t care—He delayed it so that His glory would be revealed in a greater way (John 11:4). What you think is a delay might actually be a divine setup for resurrection power to be revealed!

So if you’re walking through what feels like the valley of disappointment, discouragement, and delay, don’t abandon your post. Keep partnering with Jesus, because He’s working on something you cannot yet see. He is not trying to break you down—He is trying to build you up in faith, stamina, and spiritual authority.

You Are in a Training Ground, Not a Wasteland!

Some of you think you’ve been in a wilderness of bad circumstances with no ways out. That’s not true. Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Spirit (Matthew 4:1). Not by the devil. Not by sin. By the Spirit. Why? To be tested, proven, and made strong. Your wilderness isn’t punishment—it’s preparation. If Jesus needed the wilderness, you do too.

This dry season is not meant to destroy you—it is meant to teach you how to fight with the Word, how to live on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4), and how to silence the enemy with Scripture, not emotion. Some people only know how to praise Jesus when everything is going well. But Jesus is raising up a remnant that knows how to praise Him in the prison, in the pit, and in the fire.

Brokenness Is Not the End—It’s the Oil!

Hear this: brokenness before Jesus does not disqualify you—it qualifies you. Jesus is not looking for polished vessels, He is looking for yielded ones. The alabaster box had to be broken for the fragrance to come out. Without the breaking, there is no perfume. You are not being crushed for nothing. You are being poured out as a sweet offering before the Lord.

David said, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise” (Psalm 51:17). Your tears are not weakness. They are intercession. Your groans are not empty. They are birthing something. Jesus allows what happens because God bottles your tears and turns them into oil. You’re being formed into something eternal.

When You Don’t Understand, Obey Anyway!

Many believers stop short of partnering with Jesus in hard seasons because they want understanding before obedience. But faith does not demand explanations—it simply says, “Yes, Lord.” Abraham left everything without knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). That is partnership.

You will never walk in resurrection power if you only obey when you feel good. You will never discover what Jesus has for you until you leave what was, and continue to walk by faith and not by sight, fully trusting and leaning on Jesus to reveal the way when there seems to be no way. Obedience in pain produces power in the Spirit. Jesus is looking for those who will say, “Though I don’t understand, I will still trust. Though I don’t feel it, I will still worship. Though I don’t see it, I will still believe.” That’s faith. That’s partnership.

You’re Not Failing—You’re Being Forged!

Maybe you feel like you’ve failed too much. That you’ve wasted too much time. That too many people passed you by. But Jesus doesn’t write people off like men do. He doesn’t throw clay away—He reshapes it (Jeremiah 18:4). You are not discarded. You are in the Potter’s hand.

You might think your life is too hard and that it’s not getting any better, but maybe it’s not supposed to be getting any better yet because you are in the process of being refined. There’s a difference. Punishment is for the guilty. Refinement is for the called. And if you have chosen to partner with Jesus, you are called. Your setbacks, if submitted to Jesus, will become setups for glory. Your losses will become lessons. Your pain will become prophecy.

Do not forget the most important truth: Jesus is with you in this. He is not watching from afar, He is walking with you. He is the fourth man in the fire. The Comforter in your midnight hour. The Good Shepherd who walks through the valley with you—not around it, not over it, but through it.

He sees the bills, the heartbreak, the loneliness, the prayers you didn’t have words for. He hears the groans that cannot be uttered. He is closer than your breath. If you will partner with Him even now, you will see that His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You’re not doing this alone.

Need some Instructions while you’re in the Waiting Season? Keep reading:

While you wait for your “better,” don’t waste the waiting.

  • Worship intentionally. Worship isn’t a reaction to good news; it’s a declaration of who Jesus is—before the breakthrough.
  • Stay in the Word. Don’t just read it—eat it. It is your bread in the wilderness.
  • Pray in the Spirit. Tongues will build up your inner man when everything outside is falling apart (Jude 1:20).
  • Guard your confession. Don’t speak death while asking for life. Agree with Heaven.
  • Stay in community. Isolation breeds deception. Stay connected to people who will speak faith when you feel weak.

Try not to worry, Jesus Will Finish What He Started!

You may feel like you’re in a holding pattern—but God is the Author and the Finisher (Hebrews 12:2). He didn’t bring you this far and let you partner with Jesus to abandon you. He’s not done. You are not too late. You are not too broken. You are not too far gone. If you will partner with Jesus even now, in the pain, in the dryness, in the delay—you will see resurrection life.

The best wine comes last. The biggest miracles come after the death of expectation. The greatest testimonies are birthed in the darkest nights.

So rise up. Get up. Praise again. Trust again. Partner again.

Because whether you feel it or not—your Redeemer lives.

And He’s still writing your story.

🙏Simply have faith, keep praying, trust and believe. Let’s pray together again, let’s partner with Jesus again,

Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before You—not in the strength of our circumstances, but in the power of our surrender. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who never forsakes. Lord, You know every dry place, every hidden tear, every long night, and every prayer that seemed unanswered. But still, we choose to believe. Still, we choose to partner with You.

Father, we lay down our timelines, our expectations, and even our disappointments. We ask You to purify our faith—not built on results, but rooted in relationship. Forgive us for the times we doubted Your nearness because things didn’t look the way we hoped. We trust that even now, You are working all things together for our good.

Lord Jesus, we invite You into our process. Walk with us in the fire, whisper truth in the wilderness, and strengthen us in the waiting. Make us people who don’t quit. Make us people who *worship in the delay,* obey in the drought, and remain faithful even when the winds shift.

Holy Spirit, fill us afresh. Awaken our spiritual senses. Give us fresh oil for the journey. Help us to see this season not as punishment, but preparation. Not as rejection, but redirection. Not as the end, but the middle of a resurrection story.

Father, we believe that You finish what You start. You redeem what was lost. You restore what was broken. And we boldly declare, by faith, that *better is coming*—but more than that, **You are with us now.** And that is enough.

In the mighty and faithful name of Jesus we pray,

**Amen.**
