When you have been praying, giving, doing, asking, seeking, knocking and waiting and you are still stuck, not seeing breakthroughs, or discouraged by life’s circumstances, oftentimes there is an invisible enemy that is hiding in the shadows preventing Jesus’s breakthroughs from showing up in your life! Could the block be “doubt”? Or perhaps something else?

Doubt is like a wall, a formidable barrier between us and the divine breakthroughs Jesus is ready to unleash in our lives. It’s not just a small obstacle; it’s a blockade that hampers our spiritual progress. When we doubt, we’re essentially telling Jesus, “I don’t trust you enough to believe that you can work wonders in my life.” This disbelief doesn’t just hurt; it hinders. It blocks the flow of miracles, the same miracles that could transform our lives from the inside out.

### The Consequences of a Doubting Heart

When we doubt, we’re not in a position to receive the fullness of what Jesus wants to do. Remember the story of Peter walking on water? The moment he took his eyes off Jesus and allowed doubt to creep in, he began to sink. That’s what happens in our lives too. Our breakthroughs begin to sink into the sea of our disbelief. Jesus is asking us to keep our eyes fixed on Him, to believe beyond what we can see, and to trust Him even when the waves are crashing around us. If doubt or something else is what is blocking you from receiving Jesus’s breakthroughs for your life, pause for a moment and pray, “Dear Jesus, would you please help me overcome my doubts in you and your abilities to perform miracles, signs, wonders and or breakthroughs in my life? Jesus will you please help me overcome whatever else is preventing me from being able to see, receive or get the miracles, signs, wonders or breakthroughs that you want to give me in my life? I need your help Jesus, I can’t see the way that you can, will you please help me? It is in your name I ask and pray!

After you say that prayer, expect Jesus to hear and respond to that which you have prayed at just the right time, then begin to take steps to build your faith, so that you don’t stay stuck in a place called, “there” “almost”, or what was!

1. **Feed Your Faith Daily**: Start by immersing yourself in the Word of God. Let the scriptures be the foundation upon which your faith is built. Remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

2. **Witness Testimonies**: Surround yourself with testimonies of God’s faithfulness. Listen to stories of breakthroughs and miracles. Let these stories remind you of what Jesus is capable of doing in your life.

3. **Speak Life**: Begin to declare the promises of God over your life. There is power in the spoken word. Speak faith, not fear. Speak life, not death.

4. **Prayer and Fasting**: Commit to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. This spiritual discipline has the power to strengthen your faith and bring clarity to your spiritual walk.

Let us seal the deal by letting Jesus know that we know that He knows that doubts, or something else has been blocking our miracles, breakthroughs, signs or wonders, and because we know this, we take responsibility for it and want to get the issue fixed with His help. So, let’s pray:

“Lord Jesus, I confess that my faith has wavered. I have allowed doubt to cloud my vision and block the breakthroughs You have for me. Today, I choose to trust You anew. I invite You into my circumstances, into the areas of my life that need a breakthrough. I believe that You can work wonders. Help my unbelief, increase my faith, and lead me into the fullness of what You have for me. Amen.”
