Pray and have faith! “Trust Jesus to Come To Your Rescue!”

It is easy to put our trust and faith in Jesus when times are good and life is going as planned. However, it is not as easy to remain faithful and have trust in Jesus when difficult circumstances don’t improve, or even worsen. Times like these can be incredibly difficult and can take an emotional toll; which is why it is important to remember that no matter what is happening, we should never forget the power and faithfulness of Jesus.

No matter how hard the situation, Jesus can provide comfort and a place of refuge when our trust in him remains strong. Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NIV). In other words, Jesus is willing and ready to take away our struggles, but he can only do so if we allow him to by trusting him and not giving up hope.

This does not mean, however, that if we put our trust in Jesus, things will suddenly improve. Sometimes, despite our faith and trust, hard times may still persist. But although hard times may not change, our trust in Jesus should not waiver. In fact, trusting Jesus in these moments can make us better equipped to face and endure the challenging times. Jesus constantly offers us his grace and unyielding presence, guiding us as we seek His help and strength.

With Jesus by our side, we are capable of more than we think. We can be resilient and strong in the face of any difficulty, no matter how long it may last. Having strong faith and a trusting relationship with Jesus allows us to remain hopeful in even the darkest hours. As Scripture says, ‘But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint’ (Isaiah 40:31). This powerful verse speaks of hope that can only be found in trusting Jesus, no matter the circumstance.

Trust in Jesus can also provide us with unparalleled peace. When we trust Him, our minds and hearts are at ease, because we are in the comforting knowledge that Jesus has our backs. Knowing this, we can be filled with wonder and love for His unending mercies. As Jesus said, ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid’ (John 14:27).

In order to trust Jesus fully, it is important to remember that nothing will ever separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). This assurance of His abiding faithfulness transcends all understanding, providing us with strength and courage to keep pressing on, knowing that Jesus is with us every step of the way.

We may not always know why God is allowing difficult experiences, but we can trust that He loves us and that He will never abandon us. The Bible says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

So, in the midst of any struggle or hard time, let us choose to trust Jesus above all else. Even if things don’t turn around, or seemingly improve, Jesus will continue to be with us, providing us with peace and comfort beyond what we can understand. In trusting Jesus and leaning on Him for help, we will find true joy, strength, and peace in times of darkness.
