Jesus gave YOU What He could, What Will You Give Jesus?
Christmas is today. This is your opportunity to give a gift to Jesus. How would you feel to have your own birthday party and everyone received a gift but you? This is how we often treat Jesus. We celebrate His birthday but we get the gifts.
This year, let it be different. Jesus said in Matthew 25:34-46, verse 40: “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Miller Sand – Firewood
We all know a person who needs our love: The lonely, the hurting who have no one to care. The people in the nursing homes who don’t have any family. The elderly in churches. Give a plant to them if unsure about any food. If we don’t have any money to give, give a smile or a kind word. The point is give something or do something that you would not otherwise do, and do it in the name of Jesus, it is in this way that you will be giving to Jesus.
Get the children involved and rake some leaves for a shut-in. Bake some cookies for the ones who can’t bake anymore. We all can do something if we want to. I know this will put a smile on Jesus’ face. Let us think of others and I promise you this will be the best Christmas you will ever have.
Jesus gave all that He could possibly give — His very life so we could be saved from Hell. There is also a beautiful Heavenly home waiting for us one day. Jesus gave what He could, He gave His life for yours. What about you? This Christmas and always, we invite you to tak some time and think about it…Will You give Jesus what You can? What will you do? What will you give to help Jesus where He is at work? Who will you help? Who will you share with? What will you do differently to let Jesus know that you really appreciate His sacrifice for you.
Once you decide what you will do…say this simple prayer, “Dear Jesus, thank you for giving me what you could, I commit my life to you and invite you to become my personal Lord and Savior. I am sorry for my sins, I cannot save my self, I invite you to come into my life and take control of my life and become my personal Lord and Savior. Help me dear Jesus, to learn to not only receive from you, but help me to give to you and help me to use my time, my talents and the many gifts that God has given me to help bring others to you that may need you, in your name I ask and pray, Amen! Let us show our love to Jesus this Christmas season. He loves you, show Him that you love Him in return, give to Him and do something for Him.
