Remember, Problems Can Be Terrible, but, help still Is Available!
Fear is a big thing people deal with when they hit a problem. TD Jakes said if you can kill it your mind, you can kill those fears or whatever in your life. “If you’re still bitter in your head, you’ll be bitter in life.” This so true, as fear manifests in many ways, and the gateway is our mind. Face it and don’t fear the problem, overcome it.
Change Your Mindset
Change the mindset and get strategic. Look at what you can control and what you can do if you received a bad diagnoses, or losing someone. Don’t become your worst enemy by running way into a corner. This corner grows into a pit. If you need help enlist a trusted friend to help you, so there is support, and a network to access. This will be helpful when dealing with challenges.
Be Strong
Pray Often
When you are going through hard times, it can be difficult to want to pray or to feel like praying. It can be increasingly difficult if you already feel like your prayers are either not being answered or that things are “Really not getting any better”, but this is the time that you need to put your nose to the grind and beef up your prayer life and your prayer times, because “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person availeth much” – James 5:16.
Just because you don’t see anything visibly or outward circumstances do not seem to be changing or improving, it does not mean that God is not working or hearing your prayers, it simply means that God is working and responding in answer to your prayers but results and outcomes will take additional time to manifest and become visible so that you can see, taste and enjoy them! So whatever you do, don’t quit praying, don’t quit believing and don’t fall for the bait of the devil and get lured into the dark trap of discouragement, depression and despondency, for God is working and He really does have your best interest at heart and He has a plan for your life, however you will have to wait on Him for the timing and the unfolding of that plan! If you stop praying because you don’t see any visible changes or results, there will be insufficient power to birth what you are praying for.
To help you understand this more fully, consider this, the car that you drive needs gasoline to get from point A to point B, when the gasoline light comes on in your car telling you that your car needs more gas in order to keep going and you fail to put gas in your car, what do you think would happen? If there is no gas in the car, the car will not move and go any further. And so it is with your prayers, God needs your prayers in order to work.
Your prayers are like the gasoline is to the car, to keep things going and moving, you have to “PRAY”! So now is not the time to give up, get tired and stop praying! Keep going, God will help you if you will simply ask Him to. It’s all up to you, so what’s it going to be? Are you going to keep going and pray or stop and abort the potential results that your prayers could help manifest? The choice is yours!
