Jesus wants to clue You in on why You’re Here!

Have you ever wondered,  why you are here? Do you ever wonder what in the world was God thinking when He created you? Have you ever asked yourself, what purpose is there to life?  If you don’t know what God expects of you or what you’re supposed to do while you’re here on Earth, Well then, let’s read the following  “job description”. It explains, in black and white, what God wants you to do with the life he has given you: My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; (Proverbs 3: 1-9).

Sometimes to understand Scriptures, you may have to  read and re-read those words of wisdom many, many times in order to have them take root in your heart and then bear fruit in your thoughts and activities each day. If you still have difficulty understanding the meaning of Proverbs 3:1 – 9, you can always pray and ask God to illuminate the meaning of the Verse to you in such ways until you “get it”!  God wants you to understand why you are here and what He expects of you while you are here.  He doesn’t want you feeling or thinking you are lost, with no help and left to figure it all out yourself! He delights in assisting you in coming in to an enlightened understanding  of why you are here. He delights in making it clear to you what He expects of you.  So, if you are confused, uncertain, or doubting your reasons for existence, re – read Proverbs 3: 1-9), then  inquire of God in prayer and ask God to help you understand why you are here, then wait for His response.  He will surely respond at the right time and in ways that you will “get it”!

We can tell you with absolute certainty that it is a mistake to get ahead of God and His plan for you life.  We can tell you with absolute certainty that It is a mistake to go ahead and do your own thing, in your own way and then say to God: “Look what I did Lord, is that OK with you?”  In short, that is putting the cart before the horse.  The best way to do anything in life is to pray first, get God’s permission/response  first, and then choose to act, react or not act, react!  You don’t have to walk around confused about what to do and why you are here, when God wants to direct you! You may make many plans in life, but Psalm 37:23  gives you a clue as to how that will work out for you if you try to do your own thing. Psalm 37:23 states  “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighted in his way”.  Since God is going to direct your steps anyway, you can save yourself a lot of time, trouble and grief, if you seek Him first through prayer on any and everything before you do it, it is in this way, that you will be on course with God headed in the right direction that He has charted out for your life to fulfill the plans and Purposes for your life.  When this happens, you will never have to worry or wonder again, why you are here or what to do!
